Association management companies (AMCs) such as RGI serve a variety of clients across many industries, which means that individual associations managed by AMCs have access to the experience, knowledge and resources of staff members beyond those that serve their organizations. It also means that association clients are able to draw on the lessons from others under the direction of the AMC and make fully informed and well advised decisions.
This is what the Corporate Housing Providers Association realized this year as it navigated the difficulties that many others faced in moving an in-person conference to an entirely virtual format. CHPA staff and volunteers executed this transition smoothly by paying attention to and learning from the successes and failures of fellow association management clients managed by RGI. Taking lessons from other similar associations, CHPA was able to fully and effectively transform its conference to an online platform that still enabled association members to receive the strong content they have grown accustomed to in years past.
