Raybourn Group International’s Craig Banister Selected as ASAE NextGen Scholar

Craig Banister, Director of Marketing and Communications at Raybourn Group International (RGI), was recently selected as a NextGen Scholar by The American Society for Association Executives. He is one of 23 young professionals selected to attend the NextGen Summit this week in Columbus, Ohio.

Offered once annually, the NextGen Summit is a unique opportunity for younger leaders who possess a passion for positive association impacts. Recipients demonstrate leadership potential to provide success to the organizations they serve.

According to ASAE President and CEO Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE, “NextGen scholars represent some of the brightest, most enterprising and creative association professionals under the age of 35.”

Over the course of an immersive 3-day experience, selected participants engage in meaningful conversations about the unique needs of the association industry. Attendees engage in conversations related to their perspectives and interests as young professional association leaders and their role in adapting to trends facing the association industry.

“It is an honor to be selected for this event,” said Craig. “I’m looking forward to connecting with association leaders from around the country. This will be a great opportunity for us all to share new ideas and discuss solutions to the shared challenges we are facing.”

The NextGen Summit takes place Sept. 21-24 and provides the opportunity for participants to cultivate new professional skills and creative confidence. Scholars acquire the tools, visibility, and network necessary to become a positive force in the broader association community. The program is designed for highly engaged and motivated association management professionals.
