The Indiana Chamber of Commerce has revealed the rankings for its 2023 Best Places to Work in Indiana program, selecting Raybourn Group International (RGI), an Indianapolis-based association management, consulting and event planning firm, as the 27th best small employer (15-74 employees) in Indiana. The small employer category included 72 companies.
“The theme of this year’s program was ‘A Kind of Magic,’ which captures the dynamic culture and experiences offered by all of these winning organizations,” says Indiana Chamber President and CEO Kevin Brinegar. “Whether it’s workplace benefits, volunteerism, employee recognition programs or mental wellness initiatives, these employers consistently ‘wow’ their teams – and vice versa.” Read the Indiana Chamber’s full press release here.
This statewide survey and awards program is research-driven and examines each company’s practices, programs and benefits. It is designed to identify, recognize, and honor participating employers in Indiana with leading workplace cultures. In total, the 2023 program honored 125 businesses divided into four categories based on number of employees.

This 18th annual program was created by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group. To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- Be a for-profit, not-for-profit business or government entity;
- Be a publicly or privately held business;
- Have a facility in Indiana;
- Have at least 15 employees working in Indiana;
- Be in business a minimum of 1 year.
Craig Banister
Craig joined the RGI team in 2015 as an intern and joined as a staff member in 2018. During his time at RGI, he has worked with associations in the commercial real estate, corporate housing, healthcare engineering, nutrition education and legal industries. He holds a social media marketing certification through HubSpot Academy as well as two marketing certificates through the Association Academy. Craig was selected as an ASAE NextGen Scholar in 2022.
