Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
At RGI, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment that encourages continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation. We invest in the personal and professional growth of every employee, ensuring that diversity and inclusion are at the core of everything we do, benefiting both our team and clients.
RGI is better when we welcome and accept people as their authentic selves, and intentionally seeks diversity of gender, age, sexuality, ability, religion, nationality, race, geography, political views, appearance, gender identity, and other characteristics. RGI creates an environment of education and growth to support diverse initiatives for staff and clients.
At RGI, we are dedicated to advancing equity by:
- Providing continuous learning opportunities: Empowering our team members to grow both personally and professionally.
- Offering workshops and training: Ensuring employees have the tools they need to thrive in a dynamic, inclusive environment.
- Fostering inclusion through events: Creating spaces for collaboration through team-building activities, social gatherings, and professional networking.
- Promoting a culture of belonging: We ensure that every voice is heard, connections are built, and collaboration is celebrated daily. At RGI, inclusion isn’t just a value—it’s a practice we uphold every day, striving to create a workplace where everyone can contribute, belong, and succeed.

Purpose & Impact of the DEI Committee
The RGI DEI Education and Support Workgroup is focused on empowering our team to become more effective advocates for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). The workgroup helps individuals grow in their own DEI journeys, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to foster inclusive cultures within the associations they serve.
Central to the workgroup’s efforts is the DEI Program Maturity Matrix, which allows our staff and clients to assess organizational progress and identify areas for improvement. By addressing unconscious biases and promoting a culture of belonging, we encourage RGI team members to lead by example and guide volunteer leaders toward meaningful, actionable change—well beyond public statements.
With more than 60% of RGI colleagues actively involved in leadership roles across ASAE and the Indiana Society of Association Executives, our internal growth directly enhances the broader association profession, positioning RGI as a catalyst for advancing DEI principles within our industry.
