RGI Staffers Earn Association Executive Designation

INDIANAPOLIS – Raybourn Group International (RGI) is pleased to announce that two of its valued staff members have recently earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation. Amanda Cook, CAE, serves as the director of membership and marketing for RGI and Katie Riggs, CAE, CMP, serves as the director of client and conference services. The CAE designation is designed to elevate professional standards, enhance individual performance, and identify association professionals who demonstrate knowledge essential to the practice of association management.

“At RGI we value professional excellence, and having a CAE designation signifies that level of service for all aspects of the association industry,” said Leslie Murphy, FASAE, CAE, president of RGI. “Having the CAE certification is yet another guarantee that we can provide superior service for our clients. We at RGI are proud of Amanda and Katie’s commitment and displayed excellence in the association industry.”

Cook and Riggs join eight other CAEs on staff at RGI.

The CAE certification is administered by the American Society of Association Executives. Founded in 1960, the CAE program stands as a mark of excellence and has evolved to reflect what it takes to manage an association in today’s challenging climate. The CAE program is geared toward association management practitioners, who have a vested interest in advancing their profession and the industry. Earning the CAE credentials is one of the highest achievements for those in the profession.

In order to qualify to take the certification test, individuals must be working professionally in the industry and complete over 100 hours of professional development, then sit for and pass the CAE exam.
