We are pleased to announce that two Raybourn Group International staff members have recently earned certifications in their respective fields.
Emilie Perkins, Director of Client and Conference Services, has earned the designation of Certified Event Designer, Level 3 of Mastery, from Event Design Collective. This program focuses on applying design thinking to meetings, events and education opportunities, reimagining offerings, adding value and enhancing the end-user experience. Perkins, a 20+ year veteran of the association industry, is just one of 263 meeting and events professionals worldwide to achieve this designation. In addition to her CED designation, Perkins is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Certified Association Executive (CAE), a Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds a Certificate in Meetings Management (CMM).
Nick Estrada, Director of Membership, earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation. The CAE designation, administered by the American Society of Association Executives, is designed to elevate professional standards, enhance individual performance, and identify association professionals who demonstrate knowledge essential to the practice of association management. Earning the CAE credential is one of the highest achievements for those in the profession. Estrada, who also holds a Certified Meeting Professional designation, joins 13 other CAEs on staff at RGI.
“RGI values professional excellence, and these designations demonstrate our ongoing commitment to professional development,” said Leslie Murphy, FASAE, CAE, president of RGI. “Our team members strive to stay at the top of their fields through understanding the latest tools, trends and best practices in our industry, which allows our clients to thrive.”
