Raybourn Group International (RGI), an Indianapolis-based association management, consulting and meeting planning firm, announces three staff members, Nicole Brandt, Kortney Incorvaia, and Emilie Perkins successfully completed the Healthcare Meetings Compliance Certificate (HMCC). The certification is offered by Meeting Professionals International (MPI).
HMCC offers a broad understanding of regulatory topics shaping healthcare meeting compliance, laying competency groundwork upon which critical thinking skills are developed. The intensive, four-hour program provides healthcare meeting compliance stakeholders with the knowledge and experience they need to successfully navigate the increasingly complex pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device regulatory environment through case studies, business simulation, discussion, and active exercises.
Study for the certification exam included reviewing the textbook “Breaking the Code to Healthcare Compliance” by Pat Schaumann, CMP, CSEP, DMCP. The HMCC certificate is valid for two years, requiring a refresher course to stay abreast of constantly changing healthcare meeting compliance regulations, cross-border compliance, CMS Open Payments changes, and updates, the EFPIA Disclosure Code, and other healthcare trends.
“RGI’s mission is to help our clients thrive, and we are dedicated to supporting the professional development of all RGI team members through designations, certifications, and knowledge sharing,” said RGI President Leslie Murphy, FASAE, CAE. “A majority of RGI staff members have achieved the highest designations in their fields giving RGI clients access to an unmatched network of experts.”
