Wendy King joined RGI in 2020 and currently serves as Executive Director of the International Order of the Golden Rule. In this role, she partners closely with the board of directors to guide strategic planning and advance the association’s mission.

Wendy brings extensive experience in marketing and public relations, event strategy, and fundraising across trade associations, charitable organizations, and government agencies. Her goal has always been to turn big visions into reality. One highlight? Leading athlete recruitment and marketing for the World Police & Fire Games, which drew more than 10,000 athletes from 70 countries to Indianapolis for an unforgettable global event.

Wendy is actively involved with the Indiana Society of Association Executives and the American Society of Association Executives, serving on various committees.

Outside of her professional work, she enjoys planning family activities – most recently a tea party and high heels fashion show for the kids. One of her favorite ways to recharge is traveling around the world with her husband, Jim, where they adore discovering new foods and learning about other countries and cultures.
