During her internships, she worked to develop key relationships with target audiences and managed social media accounts and newsletters. She also worked with Let Us Learn as a part of her coursework at IU. Let Us Learn builds gardens and provides educational classes on nutrition and cooking in the Southern Indiana area. Her team helped Let Us Learn win a $14,000 grant from a local community foundation.

Nicole’s volunteer involvement includes serving with the Little River Wetlands Project in Fort Wayne, IN to remove invasive species and track nesting turtles to create a safer habitat for animals. She is originally from Fort Wayne and recently moved to the Indianapolis area. When she is not working, she enjoys cuddling up on the couch with a good book or paddling on a body of water in her kayak. She has visited 23 states in the U.S. and seven countries. She would like to check off visiting all 50 states from her bucket list.
